Pupil Premium Strategy

Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that these children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as their peers.

"My child in year 1 struggled with reading and phonics but the extra funding she gets has supported the school is delivering more phonics lessons to her and her confidence has really improved because of this" (Year 1 parent)

The money is spent directly on your child and school receive this money every year - just for your child. There are a number of different things the school can spend it on and they involve you in this!"
